Jasur Hasanov is an Impact Entrepreneur, Marketer, trained Startup Coach & Business Advisor.
He’s behind the initiatives like Social Innovation Lab and VentureBattle accelerator program that stands for bridging the gap between the aspiring tech entrepreneurs from the extended Caucasus Region and the right resources and inspiration to enable the creation of sustainable tech innovations in hospitality, foodtech, education and cleantech fields. In other words, these initiatives have been playing a key role to catalyze Azerbaijani and Caucasian tech ecosystem and provide the local entrepreneurs access to the global opportunities.
He founded BeBonobo, an award winning startup that promotes conscious consumption by disrupting current wasteful consumption patterns – through an online social network which connects individuals and businesses to list unwanted and search for any types of wanted items anywhere within a preferred distance or in any specific location. It was founded to serve South-East Asian market which initially focuses on Malaysian and Singaporean markets.
Jasur is the author of the Impact of Website Quality on Online Purchase Intention (Procedia Computer Science, 2015), he holds an MBA from Putra Business School, BA in Computer Science and also, he is an alumnus of Swedish Institute on “Systems Entrepreneurship”. He also lectures Practical Innovation and Principles of Entrepreneurship subjects in Baku Engineering University.
As an artpreneur and street art lover, he started Street Art Azerbaijan independent society in 2012 which still operates in Baku, Azerbaijan.
