Jasur Hasanov is an Impact Entrepreneur & Marketer by passion, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Expert by profession.

He currently serves as Head of Experimentation at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Jasur’s the Founder and Chairman of the Sil.VC (Social Innovation Lab) – a leading entrepreneurship center that provides technological, industrial and business mentoring and offers seed funding for early stage startups in cleantech, space, foodtech, agritech and creative industries. Sil.VC has been playing a key role to catalyze Azerbaijani tech ecosystem and provide the local entrepreneurs access to the global opportunities.

Jasur founded Codabra.io – a privately owned IT Services business formed in 2012. Today the company boasts a humble team of IT engineers who thrive on solving IT problems and meeting needs of businesses in the automotive, ecommerce, agriculture and other emerging industries.

He also founded a tech startup BeBonobo, an award winning startup based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia that promotes conscious consumption by disrupting current wasteful consumption patterns – through an online social network which connects individuals and businesses to list unwanted and search for any types of wanted items anywhere within a preferred distance or in any specific location. It was founded to serve South-East Asian market which initially focuses on Malaysian and Singaporean markets.

Jasur is the author of the Impact of Website Quality on Online Purchase Intention (Procedia Computer Science, 2015), he holds an MBA from Putra Business School, BA in Computer Science and also, he is an alumnus of Swedish Institute on “Systems Entrepreneurship”. He previously lectured Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing subjects in Baku Engineering University and currently lectures the same subject at French-Azerbaijani University.

Jasur is one of the 50 Innovation Leaders from over 40 countries of Europe who participate in the Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative Fellowship (YTILI Fellowship) of the U.S. Department of State & German Marshall Fund in the Netherlands and United States from April to October 2019!
